Time 2 Roster updates have been published to implement changes from customer feedback and correct reported bugs. As it progresses, we're becoming more and more pleased with the wonderful feedback we're getting from the marketplace. There's obviously a great need for simple rosters in business, as the wide variety of people registering from different industries all across the world are indicating. if you haven't tried the Time 2 Roster Beta yet, why not give it a shot? It's free rostering software you can use to your heart's content.
Time 2 Roster has been updated to BETA 2. Following the fantastic response we got from the Lifehacker article last month, our lads in the development team have done some major updates to the wizard so that it covers more of the rostering scenarios you are likely to see. The boys don't get out much (something about their mothers), so they'd like to see as much feedback as possible on the wizard itself. We feel this is the key to building the sort of rostering experience that matches your needs.
Register (for FREE) in our public beta to see what it's all about. If you've already registered for the beta and want to try the wizard again with the same email address, please contact support to have your account reset.
Time 2 Roster has also allowed us to qualify as a finalist for the Microsoft® Australia Partner Awards (MAPA) for 2011 in the Innovation Partner of the Year category. A combination of belief in our product, thinking outside the square, and using the best available tools and services has enabled us to achieve this outstanding result. The most significant of these tools is the Microsoft® Windows Azure™ platform; It has been a real joy to work with. We no longer have to worry about infrastructure and scalability for Time 2 Roster. With a small amount of preparation, Time 2 Roster just works. Coupled with Microsoft® SQL Azure™ , we've not only reduced our upfront costs, but the expenditure over the long haul will be tiny compared to traditional hosting. We truly recommend it for anyone considering building Software As A Service.
We've even updated our melon.
The public beta has just been released, why not register (for FREE) and see why we're so excited.
Out of 90 entries from around Australia, Time 2 Roster was chosen as the My Concept Rules winner! We are very close now to having a working beta released.
Time 2 Roster has been chosen as one of four finalist for Microsoft's My Concept Rules contest! We will pitch our idea at Microsoft's REMIX conference in Sydney next week. Wish us luck!
Our developers are so close now! We will have an initial release out for testing within a few weeks for a select number of clients to trial. Based on their findings, further refinements will be made to the general public release of Time 2 Roster.
The user interface is really coming along, and it's easy to say that this is going to be one slick rostering solution.
Nothing too exciting to report on other than progress is going well. To make a simple and easy to use program sure does takes alot of time!
After discussions with various industry rostering staff and business owners, we have put together a vast set of requirements that need to be met in making the ultimate rostering solution.
All these requirements have now been coded (in rough form!) and put into our initial proof of concept, and it is looking good! Stay tuned for more updates.
Time after time we hear of the strains that rostering can have on a business. If everyone was a robot, then rostering would be a breeze, but in reality, there are so many factors that come in to play when building a roster that they just are not a simple task for most. Having so many factors to take into consideration often means mistakes are inevitable, and these are costly.
We have now set the wheels rolling on the development of Time 2 Roster. Our aim - to take the pain out of the rostering process.
